*No jewelry besides costume pieces
*Costumes need to be steamed and wrinkle free before arriving at the competition venue
*Always have an extra pair of tights and make sure your dancer's shoes are in good condition
*ALWAYS bobby pin your hairpieces. You can never have enough bobby pins.
